BREAKING!  PH COVID-19 updates:  12,513 positive;  824 deaths;  2,635 recoveries

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 208 new positive cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the Philippines, bringing the total number of cases to 12,513.

“As of 4PM today, May 17, 2020, the Department of Health reports 208 new cases (PH12306-PH12513) of COVID-19. NCR with additional 174 new cases, Region 7 with 1 additional new case and 33 new cases from different Regions. The total number of cases in the country is now at 12,513,” said DOH COVID-19 Case Bulletin  #064.

The DOH also reported 7 new fatalities, bringing the death toll to 824.

The DOH also announced 74 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 2,635./Stacy Ang
