Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said that he is willing to lead a probe into corruption that involves lawmakers and government officials in infrastructure projects.

“They should not treat me there as an accused (but) as a resource person.” He added

Magalong said he is no stranger to House inquiries, as he had attended a number of congressional hearings in the past, he just wanted a “straight talk” from the lawmakers of the 20th Congress.

The Former Police General stated that he is just waiting for a summon or notice from the Lower House.

“Tawagin na lang nila ako, wag na silang magdadaldal pa” said by the Mayor as he was challenged by Rep. Terry Ridon to show his evidence of those member of the Lower House that is involved in corruption.

“The contract price alone and the detailed unit price analysis, you will see it there at once, that’s already evidence. But they don’t want to look,” Magalong said.
