A reward is being set-up by the government for any information that will lead to the arrest of the other suspects involved in the killing of Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo and eight others, according to the
Philippine National Police (PNP).
PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said that it is currently being finalized by Interior and Local Government Sec. Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos and PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr.
The two are expected to make an announcement anytime soon.
According to Fajardo, they expected the case to be expedited because of the reward.
Fajardo said rhat they are aware of the identities of the other suspects that are still at-large.
Four suspects were earlier arrested and is now under the custody of the NBI in Manila.
Gov. Degamo and eight other individuals were gunned down in Pamplona, Negros Oriental last March 4.
