Number of violators during enhanced community quarantine now more than 100,000— PNP says

The number of curfew / disobedience violators of enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) guidelines is now more than 100,000, data from the Philippine National Police (PNP) said.

According to PNP data, from March 17 to April 10, the total number of violators was recorded at 101,974.

The following is the break down:
Luzon: 60,040; Visayas: 18,514; and Mindanao: 23,420.

The PNP also said 675 were arrested due to hoarding or profiteering/manipulation of prices.

Likewise, 7,975 public utility vehicles were apprehended.

The ECQ in Luzon has been extended until April 30./Stacy Ang
