BREAKING! PH COVID-19 updates: 4,428 positive; 247 deaths; 157 recoveries

The Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday reported an increase of 233 new positive cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the Philippines, now with a total of 4,428.

“As of 4PM today, the Department of Health reports 233 new cases (PH4,196-PH4,428) of COVID-19.   Total number of cases in the country is now at 4,428,” said DOH COVID-19 Case Bulletin #028.

The DOH also reported 26 new deaths. This brings the total number of deaths to 247.

The DOH also announced 17 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 157.

The enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) or “lockdown” was extended until April 30./Stacy Ang
