FDA warns the public from unsafe, unregistered food products, supplements, vitamins

Manila, Philippines — The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a stern warning for the public against the purchase and consumption of over 30 unsafe food products, supplements, and vitamins.

According to the FDA, this includes tea, nuts, candy, juices, chocolates, vitamin C, glutathione, and collagen that are not yet registered.

Some of these products the FDA said includes Solgar Ester-C Plus 1000 mg Vitamin C Dietary Supplement does not have Certificates of Product Registration; Delicious Herbal Formula Ultra Slim Tea – Cran-Raspberry Herbal Tea; Good Day Chocolate Energy Supplement Candy Coated Pieces Dietary Supplement; and Yum Earth Gummy Bears.

The agency also warned against drinking Golden Nature Turmeric Tea C Chro Plus Herbal Dietary Supplement 500 mg Capsules; Genwhite Glutathione plus Collagen Capsules; Thorne Chromium Picolinate Dietary Supplement Capsules; and Amazing Serpentina Herbal Supplement Capsule.

A Bicol Delicacy Regalado Baquiron de Pili is also not registered; Sweetven Chocolate Sweet bites-Dark Chocolate; Sweetven Milk Chocolate with Pilinuts; Sweetven Bittersweet Chocolate with Pilinuts; Sweetven Dark Chocolate with Pilinuts while eating RJ Delicacies Special Pili Tart; De Guzman Pilinut Candies Sugar-Coated; Perfection Red Juice No Sugar Added and Perfection Green Tea No Sugar Added.

Juliet’s Native Delights Sabana Chips Banana Chips are also not registered; Juliet’s Native Delights Sunflower Seeds; L&J Homemade Candy Pastillas Stick Assorted; Goody Goody Strings Sea Salt Sweet Potato Shoestrings; Goody Goody Banana Chips Premium Sweet Chili while Mayon Treats Special Butter Cookies; Berton’s Pilinut Candy and Pastries Mazapan de Pili Bar; Delpagran Original Chili Garlic Oil; DWS Food Product Brown Rice Brew and Mayon Treats Premium Pili for the Gods.
