Robredo, AFI reopen Story of Hope Film Festival

MANILA, Philippines – The office of the Vice President Leni Robredo and the Ayala Foundation, Inc., is reopening the Story of Hope Film Festival for 2020, to encourage Filipinos to share stories of inspiration from ordinary citizens.

This is the third edition of the film festival where anyone from the Philippines can participate whether they are professional filmmakers or not as well as those who live abroad.

An entry should share a true story of hope in a 3- to 5-minute short film.

The contest aims to provide a platform to introduce the stories of ordinary Filipinos who have persevered and overcome the hurdles of life and the hope they share in the face of future trials.

The Story of Hope Film Festival 2020 was launched Wednesday, Nov. 27, in Makati City, in conjunction with the third year celebration of the OVP Hope Story program.
