Earthquake victims, Transferred to hospital by Philippine Coast Guard

MANILA, Philippines — Some earthquake victims in Bala, Magsaysay, Davao Del Norte were transported to a hospital by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) for further or better medical attention.

According to PCG, the victims needed additional medical attention and assistance especially that some victims are having serious illnesses like chronic pulmonary disease, kidney and heart failure and one of the victims was even pregnant.

The said victims were brought to the Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City to have full attention of attending physicians and nurses and to observe their medical status.

Moreover, there were at least eight (8) doctors and nurses sent by the PCG to help local health officials on the needs of evacuees.
