DOH Under Fire: ₱524M Hepatitis B Vaccine Cash Advance Issue
The Department of Health is facing controversy after Secretary Ted Herbosa was linked to a ₱524,926,193.47 cash advance for Hepatitis B vaccines through UNICEF. According to DOH, they sought UNICEF’s help due to a shortage of local suppliers, but the fund transfer did not push through because of documentation issues and unresolved liquidation from previous transactions.
