OPERATIVES  of Station Drug Unit of Taguig CPS arrested the target of buy-bust and his cohort, for allegedly selling illegal drugs and illegal possession of firearms during the drug sting operation on August 15, 2024 at about 10:15 AM at Barangay Palingon-Tipas, Taguig City

Suspects were identified as alias John, 47 years old, and alias Rey, 53 years old.

A police officer posed as a buyer and successfully brought ₱7, 000.00 from alias John. Confiscated were 33.08 grams of suspected shabu with SDP value of ₱224,944.00 and the buy bust money.

Police also found from the possession of alias John, one caliber .45 Llama Max-1 45 L/F with serial number, one magazine, five live ammunition, sling bag, and holster.

Complaint for violation of Section 5 & 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act will be filed against alias John, while suspect Rey will face complaint for violation of Section 11 of RA 9165.
