Ilocano Settlers Evicted in Lanao Sur Dialogues with Executive Secretary

The plight of the Ilocano Settlers Association Cooperative (ISAC) of Amai, Manabilang, Lanao del Sur who were forcibly evicted from their farms and homes by the Southern Philippines Development Authority to give way for plantations of two multinational companies was tackled by the June 21, 2024 episode of The Agenda media forum. This resulted in heightened media coverage that forced the Office of the Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin to a dialogue last June 25. This is an interview by Current PH with ISAC President Efren Estoque on his assessment of this dialogue.
