Mayor Digong and Inday Sara beware

on

One thing that I am sure about is that no one among these political forces is capable of successfully opposing this administration.

While pro-Duterte online commentarists are throwing ascerbic and highly emotional hits against this administration, the fact is that the people, as what the British band The Who says “cannot be fooled again.”

Admit it—the Dutertes behave and are structured organizationally as how the mafia is being run. It is a syndicated political organization meant for just one thing—pursue their sinister interests of robbing this government of its resources. Yes, Maharlika may accuse this administration of corruption and yes, several close associates of this president are indeed, reaping their respective rewards with sinecures and major contracts.

Compared with how Duterte associates raided the public coffers, destroyed the international reputation of our country, corrupted the youth with ultra-rightist ideas, and warmed up with our neighboring superpower to the hilt, the corruption now happening in this administration pales in comparison to a mile. What is so starkly evident is the fact that the Duterte administration has this thirst for blood—whoever opposes them, they try to silence them through force.

Several of the Dutertes’ success claims have no basis at all. Our treasury has been raided effectively during their time. These associates are serial kleptomaniacs. And they still stick with the old man, who is clueless about the shenanigans in his midst.

Who will suffer if the older Duterte finally calls it quits and death calls? Yes, you guessed right, the vice president Sara Duterte. The presence of these nincompoops harms the chances of Inday Sara for the presidency come 2028. The fact is, the Dutertes may never even recover politically. Yes, they are still popular today, but there has yet to be any assurance ever that they will still be popular come 2028.

I am sure that these “friends” will abandon the Dutertes the minute this administration moves forcefully against them. The only ones worthy of Mr. Duterte’s trust are those friends from old, who share the same passion and patriotism of the old man.

Kick those advisers who were involved in previous corruption cases. Kick those people who are close to your classmates. Kick those whose sole ambition is to get sinecures in veritable cash cows like the Immigration, Customs, and the DOTR.

These people are serial kleptos, dishonest, and severely damaged reputationally. Some of these people are even disowned by their relatives, friends, and law class batchmates; imagine that. Check if some or at least one of your associates enjoys this despicable tag and reputation. Kick that guy out. He is a greedy simpleton who will curse his mother for a buck.

The Opposition must never see these people among its ranks—these personalities defile it.

Mayor Digong and Inday Sara—heed my advice. Protect yourselves against these sheep in wolf’s clothing lurking within your group. Trust only those who know from the very beginning. If you want to protect yourselves, rid your ranks of these people, and I know some that deserve some good ass whipping.

The Philippines’ Past Revisited and Continuing Past: Usable...

Renato Constantino’s A Past Revisited and The Continuing Past remain profoundly relevant in illuminating the Philippines’ present political turbulence marked by the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte, the collapse of the Marcos–Duterte alliance, and violent upheaval within the Senate. These developments have not only revived anxieties over institutional fragility that Constantino already analyzed during his time but also sharpened dynastic rivalries as the nation looks ahead to the 2028 presidential elections.
