Celiz and Baduy House Drama–Part of Destab?

Yesterday, there was a commotion caused by Jeffrey Celiz, who claimed to have defected from the New People’s Army (NPA), and Lore Badoy, a former spokesperson for NTC-ELAC. They were ordered to be arrested by the House for violating a house rule on contempt. Some people referred to this incident as their “Reichstag moment,” which was a shameful and poorly executed imitation by Filipino pseudo-Rightist groups with close affiliations with Communist China.

What’s so funny about the whole thing is the apparent attempt by these people to portray themselves as “heroes of free speech.” They are reportedly protecting their source or sources from the Senate—their so-called “deep throat” who accused House Speaker Martin Romualdez of spending 1.8 billion pesos for travel expenses.

Bull. Crap.

Is there a source within the Senate who reportedly shared this juicy tidbit with Celiz and Badoy? If there is, why not reveal it during a private session with the legislators? There’s nothing wrong with showing a source during a private session since the law protects the “squealer,” who in this case is Celiz, from further prosecution. Even a law student knows that.

Behind their masquerade and “mascara” of Badoy, they intended to stir up the pot and further shame the present House leadership by sabotaging the entire inquiry. They tried to do a Reichstag incident whereby the goal was to humiliate and destroy the legislative institution. Why again?

Aside from mimicking the behavior of Nazis during Hitler’s time, these people are attacking the House to frustrate efforts at possibly impeaching the Vice President from her office. Rumors of an impeachment move against Sara continue to animate the halls of Congress. These rumors point to the camp of House Speaker Martin Romualdez, who already denied that supposed plot. Why would the speaker do that in the first place?

Sara may be one of the most formidable contenders for 2028, but her victory is not assured unless this president succumbs to a disease or is ousted from power through a coup d’etat.

Another reason these people undermine our institution is to prime us for destabilization. Former senator Antonio Trillanes IV already exposed this plan allegedly pursued by political and military minions of the former dispensation.

And why are these people so determined to destabilize? First, their Chinese Communist masters want nothing more than to create a destabilizing atmosphere here in our country to deter us from loudly protesting and shoring international support to protect our interests in the West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Secondly, those who support President Duterte want to recover the money they lost when he left his position in Malacañang. Many of Duterte’s followers had established businesses within the government bureaucracy. They were shocked when new and more ethical people were appointed to these agencies where their financial interests lie.

The upcoming year is expected to be politically interesting, especially since 2024 is an election year. These elite groups will undoubtedly fight for power and dominance. The most alarming thing about this is the possibility of an increase in politically motivated killings. They may even try to disguise these killings as part of the election process to destabilize the situation.
