DIGITAL solutions platform Globe said that they are set to launch in June, their offer of a pre-paid fiber connection.

Globe President Ernest Cu said that this will serve as a better alternative to the public having high and fast internet at affordable prices.

Cu said there will be no lock in lock-in period.

He likewise compared the pricing as that of a “sachet.”

“It will be very easy to sign up for, and most of all, it would be very affordable to the general public, particularly the mass market which is really affected by inflation,” Cu said.

However, the Globe official did not mention the specific pricing, except that they are targeting the underserved market which wants fast internet but does not want to be tied to a locked-in period.

“This will feature a fully digital experience coupled with sachet pricing and financing options that’s most relevant and accessible to the mass market,” Globe’s Consumer Mobile Business head Darius Delgado said.

Delgado said they expect to gain more customer and increase revenues with the offering of the prepaid fiber.
