With the recent release of a Warrant of Arrest for Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention against the six Security Guards involved in the disappearance of missing sabungeros in the Manila Arena, the CIDG will be posting the identity of the said accused.

The publication of the poster of the 6 wanted persons was based on the proclamation of DOJ Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla during his meeting with the CIDG and the families of the victims wherein he offered P6 Million reward for the arrest of the accused.

“Kami ay umaasa na sa pamamagitan ng mga posters na ito at sa  impormasyon na magmumula sa ating mga kababayan ay mapapabilis natin na matutunton ang kanilang pinagtataguan at agarang pagkahuli ng mga akusado,” said PBGen Caramat Jr.

CIDG Director added that the posters will be distributed nationwide. It will be posted in all PNP units, places of convergence, social media, and website of CIDG. He urged the public to help them in any way possible to apprehend the accused.

The Manila Arena case (Case 1) is one of the 8 cases being investigated by the CIDG through SITG “Sabungero”.  By far, the criminal complaints filed by the CIDG in cases 1 and 8 (Lasco case) were favored by the courts to have probable cause to indict the respondents through the issuance of arrest warrants.

With this development, the CIDG reassures the public and the victims’ families that it will be unwavering until all the cases are resolved and perpetrators will be held liable.
