The Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL), which was founded by the late President Ferdinand Marcos, is backing the presidential bid of former senator Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos Jr. in 2022.

Atty. Larry Gadon of the KBL organized an event where the party proclaimed BongBong Marcos as its presidential bet for 2022. The event held at Binangonan, Rizal was attended by around 200 KBL members, Marcos loyalists and supporters.

BongBong Marcos, in a video message, thanked the party for their support but said he was still finalizing plans for 2022.

The Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) earlier named BongBong Marcos as its presidential bet for the 2022 national polls.

PFP Secretary General Tom Lantion said on Thursday the party is backing for 2022 Marcos as he “holds a deep understanding and experience of the country’s entire electoral processes.”

“Aside from being a man of decency, he’s also a man of action with few words that needs no coaching about the art of winning a political race,” Lantion said.

It was in a national convention in Tupi, South Cotabato that PFP passed a resolution endorsing BongBong Marcos as its standard bearer for 2022. Earlier reports have it that the younger Marcos’ presidential bid is being backed by a big number of provincial governors.
