While votes were being counted, US President Donald Trump called for a press briefing and did the unthinkable– he slandered the US presidential elections by describing the entire process as a “fraud” and declared himself the winner of the most contested presidential elections in US History.
Trump made the statement while he trails Joe Biden of the Democratic Party in the popular vote and the electoral vote. While Biden’s lead is precariously slim, some analysts say that Trump feels that with the counting of mail-in ballots, the margin between him and Biden may widen in favor of the Democrat.
As of this writing, Biden already clinched the Michigan electoral votes, making him itch little closer to the required 270 electoral votes to be declared the new US president. As of this writing, Biden haas 224 while Trump has 213.
