BREAKING! PH COVID-19 updates, confirmed positive cases rise to 1,418,  deaths to 71, and recovered to 42

The Department of Health (DOH) has reported on Sunday a rise in the number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the Philippines.

The DOH said confirmed positive cases rose from 1,075 on Saturday to 1,418 as of 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The DOH also said deaths rose from 68 to 71 cases.

Recovered cases also rose from 35 to 42 cases.

Persons Under Investigation (PUIs) was reported at 874 as of Sunday.

Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) was reported at 6,321.

Tests conducted was reported at 2,686 cases./Stacy Ang
