An immigration and checkpoints authority released photo of NOriza Dancel de Luna.
MANILA, Philippines— A Filipina was sentenced seven weeks imprisonment by the Singapore immigration agency last Tuesday, January 14, 2020 because she allegedly submitted faked diploma records.
Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said Noriza Dancel De Luna, 38, gave the agency false statements about herself and her daughter.
Accordingly, the elder De Luna submitted a diploma and transcript of records allegedly from Centro Escolar University in Manila.
Further verification of Singapore’s immigration office showed that De Luna has no records of enrolment at Centro Escolar University in Manila or in any other branch of the said school.
The immigration office of Singapore said further that the diploma and transcript she supposedly submitted for the applications did not originate from CEU’s office. (IAMIGO/Currentph.com)
