MANILA, Philippines — Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo displayed his world-class talent once again as he secured three more medals, including a gold in the floor exercise event of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games on Tuesday, 03 November 2019, at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

Yulo, in the floor exercise event, was second to perform and earned a 14.700 from the judges, just enough to add another gold medal for the host country.

Tikomporn Surintornta of Thailand came in second with a score of 13.833 while Zur Bahrin Mat Asri of Malaysia bagged the bronze with 13.767.

After taking gold in the Men’s Floor Excercise Final, Yulo captured another medal after finishing second in the Men’s Pommel Horse Final.

In his third event of the day, Yulo came out and delivered as he dazzled the Rizal Memorial Stadium crowd with his Still Rings routine, earning a 13.733.

However, Yulo was once again ousted from his spot at the top of the table, this time by Vietnam’s Nam Dang, who put up an impressive 13.867.

With silver medal number two, Yulo’s personal 2019 SEA Games medal tally went up to four, including a pair of golds. (Lloyd Tagbago/IAMIGO/CNS)
