Provisions from the LTO and LTFRB says signboard for jeepneys “must be placed on the rightmost portion of windshields so it can be easily seen by passengers with right size.” Loud and clear, we say, although we are not so sure what happened to this jeepney whose windshield is almost covered with route placards! Isn’t this distracted kind driving to the max? Whatever happened to the much-ballyhooed Anti-Distracted Driving Act, a.k.a., Republic Act No. 10913? Was this limited to restricting and penalizing the use of mobile phones and other electronics devices while driving on any public thoroughfare, highway or street in the Philippines?
