That sweet, cloudy puff could be the last for this young “vaper” of Pasadena Street in Pasay City as the police, acting on President Duterte’s directive, rolled out the crackdown Thursday, 21 November 2019, against the use in public places of e-cigarettes or chemically-injected vapes (from root word vapor).
Philippine National Police (PNP) Spokesperson Bernard Banac said PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa has also ordered all members of the police force to implement the said Presidential order nationwide.
As this developed, the PNP also declared Camp Crame in Quezon City as “no vape zone” along with all other PNP offices in the country. (Mike Taboy/Benjie Cuaresma/IAMIGO/CNS)
