MANILA, Philippines — Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee Chair and House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano will be held accountable in the 30th Southeast Asian Games Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo said Wednesday.

This came on the heels or Senator Franklin Drilon’s questioning on the Speaker about the  on the 50 million dollar cauldron to be used in the SEA Games.

According to Drilon, if the P50 million fund was used for the ‘pots’ it would have built up to 50 classrooms.

“Speaker Alan Cayetano is accountable to all that relates to the SEA games.if the SEA Games failed it’s because he runs the course he is accountable to but we don’t mean to prejudge him,” said Panelo.

Rep. Joey Salceda for his part claimed the “pot”‘ as Imeldific’  but it has to be for the host country of the SEA Games he said.

“When you see the cauldron, it looks like a reasonable case of Imeldific thing, with grandiosity,” Salceda said. (Chris Figueroa/IAMIGO/CNS)
