Nash Racela set to join as head coach of DLSU Green Archers next UAAP season

MANILA, Philippines — Former Far Eastern University (FEU) head coach and Iloilo United-Royals assistant coach Nash Racela is all set to be the head coach of the De La Salle University Green Archers according to multiple sources closely monitoring the situation.

Nash spearheaded the Far Eastern University Tamaraws to the UAAP Season 78 Men’s Basketball Championship.

After two years, he was tapped to be the head coach of PBA club Talk N’ Text and helped bring the Katropa to the finals during the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Coach Racela also served as an assistant coach to his brother Olsen in FEU bwfore.

The Green Archers finished their UAAP season 82 at number 5 spot with a 7-7 win-loss card.

The last time that La Salle made it to the Final Four was in Season 80 where they finished second after Ateneo ousted them during their finals match-up. (Lloyd Tagbago/IAMIGO/CNS)
