A ship from the Chinese Coast Guard was spotted off the coasts of Mauban, a first class municipality of Quezon province.
The photo was posted by Ricardo Deleon Dalisay, a pseudonym of multi-awarded journalist Manny Mogato, formerly of Reuters in his Facebook account. This drew several reactions from Netizens and friends of Mogato.
Basing on the shape and size of the ship, this is not exactly a fishing vessel which innocently veered away from international waters. A Currentph.com source says the ship might have probably strayed since the hull is facing the sea.
The more pertinent question is— what is it doing there for days already? This has been reported to the authorities by Filipino fishermen.
