MANILA, Philippines – Barangay Ginebra grabbed a twice-to-beat advantage in the playoffs after dominating the game from start to finish to win, 113-90, over Columbian Dyip in the quarterfinals of the PBA Governors’ Cup on Friday (15 November 2019) at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Justin Brownlee spearheaded the offense of the Gin Kings, finishing with 26 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.

Stanley Pringle added 20 points for Ginebra, while Japeth Aguilar had a double-double with 19 markers and 10 boards.

Ginebra is now on the fourth seed and can still go up to third if they beat NorthPort in their final game of the elimination round on Sunday at the Big Dome.

Meantime, Columbian dropped to a 4-7 win-loss card, with its fate in the quarterfinals no longer in its hands. (Lloyd Tagbago/IAMIGO/CNS)
