MANILA, Philippines- On Tuesday, November 12, 2019, the weather state bureau Pagasa said, due to a low-pressure area (LPA), cloudy skies and scattered rain showers will prevail in the east of the Bicol region, as well as the northeast monsoon or “Amihan” and localized thunderstorm.
In its 4 a.m. weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the LPA will affect the Visayas regions, Bicol region, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Caraga region, Quezon, Marinduque and Romblon.
Last reported, the LPA was 910 km east of Virac, Catanduanes.
It is also predicted that within 48 hours it will develop into a tropical depression.
Meanwhile, due to the northeast monsoon or “Amihan,” the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies, and light rains.
Pagasa said, Localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. (Marian Andrei Sinamban/IAMIGO/CNS)
