MMDA suspends number coding scheme for Undas

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has suspended on Thursday, 31 October 2019, the number coding scheme starting 12 p.m., ahead of the long weekend as Filipinos commemorate the Day of the Dead.

Earlier on Thursday, Malacanang called off work in government offices starting at 12 noon.

The public holidays for All Saint’s Day and All Souls ‘ Day are Friday and Saturday.

“Suspended na po ang number coding scheme simula alas dose ng tanghali (12 noon) para sa lahat ng uri ng sasakyan,” MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago said in a message to reporters. (MAS/IAMIGO/CNS)
