MANILA, Philippines – All of the funds given him as birthday gifts were all donated by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno to the child cancer patients of the Philippine General Hospital here Sunday, 27 October 2019.
According to the highly-popular local chief executive because of his unrelenting cleanliness and pro-people programs, he collected a total of P24.5 from gifts of people close to him and or supportive to his cause to bring Manila back to life.
Moreno celebrated his 45th birthday last Thursday, 24 October 2019.
Aside from the birthday cash windfall, Moreno also said he received P1 million from JAG jeans/jacket for modelling.
IAM Coffee he said also paid him P1.5 million down payment of a P3M TF contract that he also accordingly intends to donate to PGH.
“Basta ang sinisigurado ko sa inyo may pupuntahan namang maayos yan kasi kong makakatulong ako para gasgasin ang katawan ko, Ok lang. OK lang bakit?, basta pakikinabangan ng ibang otao lalo na yung may mga sakit,” the mayor said on his Capital Report.
It was also learned that all earnings of the mayor from modeling automatically goes to the PGH Medical Foundation Incorporated.
Meanwhile, the local chief executive thanked all donors who remain anonymous specially those Filipinos living overseas who shelled out their hard-earned dollars to a just cause. (BCUARESMA/IAMIGO/CNS)
