EXCLUSIVE: PILA DECLARES DONG ABAY PERSONA NON GRATA

on

PILA, Laguna, Philippines – An alderman in this third-class municipality on Sunday, 20 October 2019, said he is filing this coming week a Sangguniang Bayan resolution that will declare singer Dong Abay persona non grata after the rock singer repeatedly cursed Pilenos on stage.

Councilor Raffy Alava Antonio claimed at first, he considered it was just a part of the singer’s style of hurling unprintable expletives to the audience during his open-air, fund-raising Oktoberfest performance Friday, 18 October 2019, in the town plaza.

But instead of slowing down, Abay, a.k.a.Yano, went on to further abuse his audience that included youngsters while urging them to clap their hands.

And this, Antonio said already proved too much for him to take as Yano went on too far and “below the belt.”

“Tang-ina n’yong mga taga Pila pumalakpak naman kayo!” Antonio quoted Abay as saying more than once throughout his front act main performance.

Antonio also added that aside from Abay’s “direct verbal abuse” on the aggregate audience, the bald and heavily-tattooed performer also committed highly offensive, immoral act against the women spectators while on stage.

Abay accordingly asked the women spectators to give him their panties that he will accordingly use to wipe away sweat on his bare upper body.

“Ibigay n’yo sa akin mga panty nyo para maipunas ko sa pawis ko,” Abay was quoted as saying on stage.

“Mahirap talagang palampasin ito,” Antonio said. “Pila is not a simple municipality but a declared National Heritage site. Nakakahiya.”

On top of it, Antonio said, right behind the stage where Abay and other local artists performed was the town’s church.

Antonio also lamented the seemingly misguided perception of his townmates regarding his stand against Yano’s dastardly act on stage.

He said he has nothing against mayor Egay Ramos but some of his supporters just cannot see it.

Instead of supporting his cause for the welfare of their town, they are accordingly accusing him of grandstanding.

Antonio also said, the show was supposedly a fund-raising activity but what piqued him the most was his discovery poor 4P’s beneficiaries were forced to buy tickets. (IAmigo/CNS)
