Thousands of passengers bound for Japan are stranded at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City. Flights to Japan remain suspended as of 4 p.m. Sunday, 13 October 2019 owing to super typhoon Hagibis which ravaged the main island of Tokyo.
