Motorcycle Taxi Riders Organization (METRO) Position Statement On Non-Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP)

Buo ang suporta ng METRO sa napipintong muling pagpapatupad ng Non-Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) sa mga pangunahing lungsod at munisipalidad sa buong bansa!

Bilang mga moto-taxi riders na araw-araw na naghahanap-buhay sa kalsada, naniniwala kami na ang NCAP ay isang epektibong paraan upang mapanatili ang disiplina at pagsunod sa batas trapiko. Ang pagsuporta sa NCAP ay pagsulong ng road safety hindi lamang para sa aming mga rider ngunit kasama rin ang iba pang motorista at ang ating mga minamahal na mananakay o pedestrian. Sa aming pagtaya, ang mga patuloy na kumokontra sa NCAP ay maaaring iyong mga sanay na lumabag sa batas.

Subalit, mariin din naming ipinapanawagan: Dapat maging mabilis, maayos at makatarungan ang pagpapatupad ng NCAP.

Hindi ito dapat maging paraan upang “gatasan” o pilit na pagkitaan ang mga motoristang naghahatid-sundo sa ating mga kababayan na pasahero at naghahanapbuhay nang maayos sa kalsada.

 

Mga Kahilingan ng METRO:

  • Malinaw at mabilis na proseso ng apela para sa mga maling huli.
  • Makatwirang multa na nararapat sa bawat paglabag.

Makaaasa ang publiko at gobyerno  sa patuloy na pakikipagtulungan ang METRO para sa isang ligtas, maayos, at disiplinadong kalsada para sa lahat!
