Kung ang WPS ay isang irritant sa relasyon ng China at Pilipinas, bakit sa Coast Guard ipinauubaya ang pagsasalita hinggil sa issue na ito? Hindi ho ba dapat Department of Foreign Affairs ang frontliner dyan?

Hindi kailan man naging diplomat si Commodore Tarriela. Galing sa military si Tarriela. Kung gyera o kaya depensa sa territoryo ang pag-uusapan experto dyan si Tarriela. Pero kung resolution ng isang relationship issue between China at ang ating bansa ang usapan, sa tingin ninyo me legal at moral standing ba ang isang Coast Guard spokesperson?
