Jacinto, which is set to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) developed from a Low Preasure Area to a tropical depression on Thursday, August 28 at 8:00am.
Jacinto is. the fifth tropical cyclone for August alone, following Fabian, Typhoon Gorio (Podul), Tropical Depression Huaning, and Tropical Storm Isang (Kajiki).
Jacinto was last spotted west of Subic Bay at the speed of 480 Kilometers per hour at 10 am on Thursday.
PAGASA stated that Jacinto is slightly enhancing the southwest monsoon or habagat. In the next 48 hours.
