Commotion happened after more than 2,000 members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) entered the sprawling Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound in Davao early this morning.
Reports say that at around 4 a.m., thousands’s gate after staying in the nearby PNP camp for many days. Reports of another possible entry into the KOJC property grew after groups of cops from other provinces began arriving in of cops arrived at the compound Davao several days ago.
Reports even indicate that some Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents and U.S. special forces were part of the huge contingent that entered the compound today. This is still being verified as this is the yarn being peddled by SMNI anchors, the official media entity of KOJC.
PNP General Nicanor Torre says they are not there to harass members of the KOJC–they are just observing the law. Torre says they just want to serve the warrant of arrest for the missing and considered fugitive leader Apollo Quiboloy Jr.
Quiboloy is wanted in the Philippines and the United States for various charges, including human smuggling, dollar salting, and sex abuse cases. The beleaguered pastor denies all charges against him.
As of this time, Senator Bato dela Rosa has reportedly arrived at the KOJC to sympathize with the remaining members of the religious group there.
