COALITION LAUNCH: 23 August Friday 10AM @ Club Filipino, Greenhills, San Juan City

A new coalition called ANIM, Alyansa ng Nagkakaisang Mamamayan, was recently formed. Among the founders of ANIM are retired generals, including former AFP and PNP Chiefs. Bishop Colin Bagaforo, the president of Caritas Philippines, and Bishop Gerry Alminaza are also among the founders of ANIM. ANIM aims to build the biggest coalition against political dynasties, corruption, and electoral reforms. ANIM is holding  a Presscon on August 23, 10am at Club Filipino.

Alyansa ng NagkakaIsang Mamamayan (ANIM) is a non-partisan multisectoral coalition committed to combat corruption, dismantle political dynasties, and advocate for meaningful electoral reforms. ANIM brings together individuals and organizations from various backgrounds— – retired military and uniformed personnel, – religious groups, – youth, – women, – business & professionals, and – civil society organization who are dedicated to creating a better future for our nation.

ANIM envisions a Philippines where governance is rooted in integrity, transparency, and accountability. It strives for a society where political power is not concentrated in the hands of a few, but is truly representative of the people’s will, ensuring that all Filipinos have an equal opportunity to contribute to and benefit from the nation’s progress.

To unite Filipinos from all walks of life in the fight against corruption and political dynasties. We are dedicated to promoting electoral reforms that ensure free, fair, and credible elections, and to advocating for policies that enhance good governance and social justice.

Goals and Objectives

– Combat Corruption:

To expose and challenge corrupt practices in all levels of government and society, and to promote a culture of integrity and transparency.

– Dismantle Political Dynasties: To advocate for laws and policies that prevent the concentration of political power within families, ensuring that governance is truly democratic and representative.

– Promote Electoral Reform: To push for electoral reforms that guarantee the true voice of the people is reflected in the election results, and to ensure that elections are free, fair, and transparent.

– Foster Unity and Collaboration: To bring together various sectors of society to work collaboratively towards achieving our shared goals, fostering a spirit of unity and cooperation.

People Behind ANIM ANIM is led by a diverse group of committed individuals who represent the different sectors of our coalition. These leaders are united by their passion for justice, fairness, and the betterment of our nation. They bring their expertise, experience, and dedication to the forefront of our efforts, ensuring that ANIM remains a strong and effective force for change.
