Fortem Genus Labs’ pioneering AI-aided Covid detection solution has shifted to high gear. FG Labs has recently signed a reseller agreement with YFC Bon Eagle International (Philippines) for the distribution of its innovative non-invasive Covid 19 screening and detection solution.
​Branded as iDETECT, this Covid test uses Artificial Intelligence technology that scans diseases of the human eye.
The scans are uploaded to our AI software using cloud computing technology and returns results within seconds.
It is non-invasive, accurate, fast and cost efficient. According to YFC Bon Eagle Country Director Garfield Cheng, “As a technology-driven company, we are always in the look-out for products and services that complement our core business.
Cheng, a computer engineer himself, added, “I am confident that the iDetect Covid 19 detection solution will be a means on how we will adjust to the new normal.”
Arthur Hua, CEO of YFC Bon Eagle Electric in Taiwan added that “the collaboration between our companies can help in the (Covid) detection capacity in the Philippines.”
For his part, Fortem Genus Labs CEO Donald Feeney expressed his support for its Distributor Partner. He said, “We are optimistic with the prospects of our Covid 19 screening solution in the Philippines and will extend our 100% support to YFC Bon Eagle as well as our other international affiliates.”
Clinical trials in the US have yielded very high marks. According to System Architect Fred Lewis the reliability of iDetect side by side with RT PCR tests is 89%.
Lewis stated that “The specifity rating (of iDetect) or the test that will show that you are Covid negative is 99%”.
Signing in behalf of FG Labs is Country Manager Prof. Johnny Perlas (GCP Certified). In his brief remarks Prof. Perlas said, “The key to preventing Covid 19 and other diseases is early detection.
And in the device that everyone here holds the most: your Smart Phones. iDetect technology enables people to test themselves right at the comfort of their homes or before going to high traffic spaces”. ​iDetect Covid 19 test is now being reviewed by the DOH and the Institutional Ethics Review Board (IERB) of the East Avenue Medical Center.
