Tycoon Lucio Tan is currently confined in a hospital after he tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), his daughter disclosed over social media.

Vivienne Tan, in an Instagram post over the weekend, said her father is in stable condition. No details were given on where Tan is currently hospitalised.

“Thank you for all your concern and prayers. My dad was admitted to the hospital after he tested positive for Covid-19. He is stable condition, responding well, and recovering,” Vivienne said.

She asked for more prayers for his father’s recovery.

“We would like to request for some privacy at this time. Please continue to pray for his speedy recovery. Thank you,” Vivienne said.

Lucio Tan is one of the richest Filipinos and was included in the list of Forbes billionaires this year. He has an estimated net worth of $3.3 billion.
