Liza Soberano nag flare up dahil sa rape comments

on

Liza Soberano is one helluva girl. She is the prettiest girl on local tinseltown but the millennial beauty isn’t going to let an online commenter off with a dangerous rape comment. And all these began when she expressed her exasperation with Converge’s slow internet services.

An employee reportedly of Converge ICT commented negatively against Soberano and even implied that ABS-CBN’s contract star be “raped.” That comment appeared after Soberano’s negative comment against Converge and of PLDT’s response giving her a 100 mbps plan to replace her Converge account.

When the PYT (Pretty Young Thing) read the remark, she reportedly consulted with her lawyer for a possible filing of a case involving cyberlibel. Soberano then aired her emotions online.

Now, the clincher…

Soberano is willing not to pursue the civil case anymore if either the employee of Converge ICT or the firm itself, issues a public apology. As of this writing, there is no official statement from Converge about the issue.

There is another one whom Soberano identified as the one who violated her right to data privacy. The actress and her family already sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Tacloban School Shooting: The Problem Isn’t Video Games–It’s the...

The Philippines has once again responded to a tragedy involving young people with a familiar reflex: panic first, think later. Following the shooting involving students in Tacloban, attention has quickly shifted toward online games, social media, and a proposed Senate inquiry. The implication is clear. Somewhere inside a computer screen lies the explanation for why young Filipinos would commit violence against one another. It is a comforting theory. It is also probably the wrong one.
