PH COVID-19 updates: 7,294 positive; 494 deaths; 792 recoveries

The Philippines on Saturday reported that the nationwide tally of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases climbed to 7,294 with 102 new infections.

“As of 4PM today, April 25, 2020, the Department of Health reports 102 new cases (PH7193-PH7294) of COVID-19. The total number of cases in the country is now at 7,294,” according to Department of Health (DOH) COVID-19 Case Bulletin #042.

The DOH also reported 17 new fatalities bringing the death toll to 494.

DOH also announced 30 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 792./Stacy Ang
