MANILA, Philippines — Filipino Pool Legend Efren “Bata” Reyes is to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award in the 2020 Philippine Sportswriters Association Annual Awards slated month of March at the Manila Hotel in Manila.
Despite losing his “Magic” in recent years, “The Magician” continues to earn achievements in the local and international billiards scene, including his bronze medal finish in the Men’s Carom event of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games last year.
Reyes is currently competing at the 2020 Derby City Classic in Indiana, USA. Reyes is a three-time PSA Athlete of the Year awardee.
This year, the PSA will give the said recognition to Team Philippines for dominating last year’s SEA Games.
