MANILA, Philippines — Ang ASH FALL at LAVA HAZE (polusyon sa hangin galing sa Volcano eruption) ay masama dahil may dala itong maliliit na dumi, na puwede malanghap, magbara sa baga, at magdulot ng hirap sa paghinga.

Posible itong magdulot ng mga sakit tulad ng bronchitis, asthma, istrok at atake sa puso. Mayroon ding namamatay dahil sa paglanghap ng usok.

Payo:

1. Huwag nang lumabas ng bahay, lalo na ang mga may edad, may sakit, buntis at mga bata.

2. Isara ang mga pintuan at bintana ng bahay. Isara din ang mga kurtina para masala ang mga dumi.

3. Kung lalabas ng bahay, puwedeng gumamit ng face mask. May tulong na rin ito ng bahagya, pero huwag magtagal sa labas ng bahay.

4. Ang pinaka-mabisang mask ay ang N95 respirator mask. Kaya nitong salain ang mga particulate matter ng haze.

5. Pero may babala sa paggamit ng N95. Bawal ito sa bata. Mag-ingat din ang buntis at may sakit dahil puwede sila lalong mahirapan huminga sa N95 mask.

6. Sa mga maysakit, Puwedeng lumipat muna sa ibang lugar na walang haze.

7. Uminom ng maraming tubig. Puwede gumamit ng air-conditioner dahil may filter ito.

8. Ituloy ang maintenance na gamot sa baga.

9. Puwede gumamit ng Oxygen tank ang mga pasyente pero itanong muna sa doktor ang lebel ng oxygen.

10. Makinig sa balita kung kailangan LUMIKAS na sa lugar ninyo.

Tandaan: Kahit hindi naaamoy o nakikita ang haze ay masama pa rin ito sa iyong kalusugan. Manatili sa LOOB ng bahay.
