US President Donald Trump became the third president to get impeached by the House of Representatives. Voting along party lines, the US Congress impeached Trump for allegedly committing abuse of power and obstruction relating to his dealings with Ukraine.

Trump reportedly used his power to convince the Ukrainian government to influence the  company that hired Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joe Biden to provide Trump several information about him and his job in Ukraine.

Biden is running against Trump in the 2020 presidential elections.

Trump initially dismissed the decision, insisting that he did nothing wrong in asking confidential information on Ukrainian dealings by Hunter and his father, the former Vice President Biden.

With Congress voting, it sets the impeachment trial by January 2020.
