Following crackdown orders on human trafficking from the DOJ Secretary Menardo Guevarra and NBI Director Dante Gierran, the NBI headquarters came awash with foreign nationals of all shapes and sizes as operatives clamped down on establishments converted as sex dens catering thousands of POGO workers in many parts of Metro Manila like Las Pinas, Pasay, and Paranaque.
And because of their sheer number, some of the arrested foreign nationals of both sexes of Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese and of Russian origins had to occupy hallways of the NBI building along UN Avenue while waiting for repatriation proceedings. (BENJIE CUARESMA/IAMIGO/CNS)
