VP Leni is creating a “ghost” to scare gov’t — Malacañang

on

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has on Friday (29 November 2019) accused Vice President Leni Robredo of making a “ghost” intended to scare the administration about her purported revelation accordingly unearthed during her brief stay as co-chair of the Inter-Agency Committee on Illegal Drugs (ICAD).

This all happened after President Duterte removed Robredo as co-chair of ICAD, on which, shorter after that, the vice-president announced on national media that “she would make public a report on her findings of her short stay as co-chair of ICAD.”

Robredo lasted only 19 days as co-chair of ICAD and the President immediately dismissed her saying he had no confidence on her and therefore he did not invite her to cabinet meetings.

Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo also challenged VP Leni to release whatever she discovered in the government’s campaign against illegal drugs. (Chris Figueroa/IAMIGO/CNS)
