MANILA, Philippines – Netizens be forewarned.

Starting December 11, 2019, Twitter will accordingly start deleting accounts inactive in the past six months, no login, no post, things like that, it said.

Users who have been inactive on social media received emails on Tuesday with Twitter allegedly advising them their account maybe deleted if it is not visited on or before December 11, 2019.

A Twitter account holder only needs is to at least sign in to his/her account to be considered “active” even if it doesn’t tweet, retweet or like, according to Twitter.

In the Twitter policy states that accounts that have not been signed for six months will be deleted.
