Traffic advisory for 30th SEAG

MANILA, Philippines – Motorists are advised to avoid traversing thoroughfares near sporting venues of the 30th Southeast Asian Games the country is hosting Nover 30, 2019 to December 11, 2019 as such a traffic rerouting is to be implemented and several roads in Manila will be closed.

Starting on Saturday, north and southbound lanes of Adriatico Street will be closed from Quirino Avenue to P. Ocampo in Malate, Manila.

As a result, there is traffic rerouting on the streets along the roads in Malate.

All vehicles in the westbound lane of P. Ocampo who came from Taft Avenue will head straight to Buendia.

On Roxas Boulevard, motorists will head straight to P. Ocampo’s westbound lane that will supposedly go to Adriatico.

Meanwhile, motorists on the eastbound lane of P. Ocampo which supposed route is the roads in Adriatico were advised to go straight ahead to Taft Avenue to reach their destination.

The opening ceremonies of the SEA Games will be held on Nov. 30 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, but most of the sport will be held in Manila. (Lloyd Tagbago/IAMIGO/CNS)
