Kpop group Blackpink got 1 billion views for their music video: ‘Ddu-Du Ddu-Du’

MANILA, Philippines — Korean girl group, Blackpink, on Monday (12 November 2019) became the first Korean group to reach the one billion views mark for their single music video on YouTube.
With just five months at Youtube, the K-pop group’s music video of “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” got the distinction as the fastest rising video sensation online.

Boy group, BTS has the second-highest YouTube views for a K-pop group music video with a 865 million views.

The first music video reached the one billion mark on YouTube and became the most viewed music video for a group while the solo artist category Psy’s “Gangnam Style” reigns.
