Stop illegal police activities Sinas tells new NPD chief

MANILA, Philippines – National Capital Region Police Office chief Brigadier General Debold Sinas has on Thursday, 07 November 2019, ordered newly-installed Northern Police District (NPD) chief Brigadier General Ronaldo Ylagan to keep his officers from committing extortion and other illegal police activities.

“Don’t let your family and children suffer from your wrongdoings,” Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas said as he admonished the newly-installed NPD chief and police officers under him.

Ylagan replaced former Brig. Gen. Ronaldo Anduyan, who was appointed as Northern Mindanao police chief.

According to Sinas police officers should not be engaged in illegal drugs, bar activities and to keep away from gambling dens.

Ylagan was the former regional chief directorial staff of the NCRPO. (Chris Figueroa/IAMIGO/CNS)
