Sen. Lacson: Congressmen are also Contractors

-Gillian Paul Abayon

According to Senator Panfilo Lacson, around 67 members of the House of Representatives are allegedly contractors of their own Government funded infrastructure projects since 2022.

“So noon 67 na, as of 3 years ago. Added by Sen. Lacson

The Flood Control Project which is said to be a primary source for corruption as kickbacks are estimated up to 50%.

Tapos lipat sunod”. Said by Sen. Lacson recalling a corruption incident.

Senator Lacson calls for an audit to the flood control project that is worth billions in fund which are inserted to the Bicameral Conference deliberation of the 2025 National Budget.

In his fourth State of the Nation Address, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. warned those corrupt officials and that they contribute to the suffering of the people.
